City U

In 1973, City University of Seattle – a private, not-for-profit university – opened its doors in Seattle, aiming to change lives for good by offering a relevant education to anyone with the desire to learn. Forty years later, CityU of Seattle remains committed to offering educational access to students who must juggle work, school and life’s many responsibilities.

In 2013, CityU is proud to unveil its new campus and headquarters in downtown Seattle. Located in the iconic Sixth & Wall building, the campus will feature:

  • The International College – committed to creating Seattle-based access to global learning
  • A rich variety of online and interactive classes delivered locally and globally
  • Technology-rich meeting space for student and public events
  • Career and counseling center
  • 18 state-of-the-art classrooms
CityU’s mission has always been the same – to improve a person’s life by offering an education that can be used in the job market of today and tomorrow.
