With 47 years of experience in the construction industry, Dale Spencer began his career as an apprentice tradesman at Sabey Construction. His deep-rooted expertise in direct management and the practical aspects of construction field operations has been pivotal in his career. 

During a 15-year tenure with a local general contractor, Dale expanded his scope to encompass a variety of commercial projects, ultimately rising to Field Operations Director. In this capacity, he honed his leadership skills and strategic oversight, managing large-scale operations and diverse teams and ensuring projects were delivered efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. 

Returning to Sabey to steer its construction department, Dale has been instrumental in expanding Sabey’s data center portfolio into strategic markets, including Quincy, WA; Ashburn, VA; New York City; and Austin, TX. Under his leadership, Sabey’s construction revenue has surged by over 1000%, reflecting his ability to scale operations effectively. Now in his 16th year as Director of Construction, Dale continues to drive the development and execution of construction operations, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and compliance as Sabey solidifies its role in the commercial data center construction sector.
