The Puget Sound Business Journal hosted an inspiring event celebrating the 2024 CFO of the year honorees. Our own CFO, Patty Sewell, was recognized at the event and received an award alongside 9 other honorees. The event was hosted at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel and proved to be a beautiful night. When asked what the hardest trade off Patty has made to make Sabey Corp. grow Patty responded, "The natural and expected trade-off with holding a C-level position is not always having as much time to pursue outside interests. I feel fortunate though to have enjoyed so many unique experiences by virtue of my role at Sabey, so absolutely view it to be a worthwhile trade-off".
Patty has not only been the CFO of Sabey Corp. since 2003, but she has also been a team member who consistently embodies the core values that Sabey holds to high importance. When asked what skill has been most important in her role at Sabey Patty responded "empathy".
